Yesterday I posted a video tour of my luxury one-bedroom suite at Canada's first Shangri-La property, in Vancouver. There was so much to note about my suite that I had to present the video to you in two parts. Today, I give you the second and final installment of the tour: the show-stopping bathroom.
As you may have gathered from my previous posts, I LOVE a hotel bathroom. Maybe because for most of my life I've been deprived of a nice bathroom that I have developed a bathroom fixation, but I tend to judge the value of my hotel room by how nice the bathroom is -- you can tell a lot about the hotel by the efforts taken with the finishes, the up-keep and those extra touches the property management has taken in this very important room.
Well I had me a ball in this bathroom. It's kind of humorous when you consider that the in-depth account of my findings was carried out while completely alone -- making me look and sound somewhat crazy -- but it was just as you will see it below. I felt like an archeologist discovering the tomb of King Tut -- immersed in my element!
So without further ado, the bathroom in the luxury one-bedroom suite and the Shangri-La, Vancouver...
Have you ever seen that TV thing? Where was your most memorable hotel bathroom?
