Here are three kitchen gadgets that are on my wish list for Valentine’s Day. Let’s hope the hubby is reading.
I know I don’t bake enough to justify one, never mind that we have zero counter space, but I so want a KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer. Did I mention that they come in a rainbow of colours including “Cook for the Cure” pink?
Speaking of colours, I wouldn’t mind Le Creuset cookware in any of their gorgeous hues. I already own one in satiny black, but I’d love one in flame (orange) or cherry (red). Not only are they pretty to look at, they are unbeatable for their excellent heat retention, generous size and sturdy construction.
I love this spice rack from Dean and Deluca. I know they don’t ship to Canada, but there are lots of places doing similar knock offs. And if you want a gift that really shows you care, you could make one with your own hands using regular test tubes. Because let’s face it, the best Valentine’s gifts come from the heart. (Cheesy I know, but I’m a sap at heart).
