Is it too early to start thinking Valentine's Day? I know it's a polarizing 'holiday', but I must tell you, after decades of dismissing it on principal - too commercial, too forced, too cheesy -- I've learned that at the end of the day, I don't like sitting at home, empty handed (get your mind out of the gutter).
I guess as you get older, you age into a conformist... But that's not why you're here. You're here to laugh at or get inspired by our gift giving suggestions, which you can always count on whenever the time comes around. (And I do think we're right on schedule, as many great finds you have to order online, which takes time and planning.)
On that note, I begin with a foursome...of gifts. Affordable gifts, in fact, which for me is a feat -- I do like to dream. The easy foursome comes via Urban Outfitters.com, which is always a great go-to for affordable seasonal finds. These four are my favourite, also because they will most definitely continue to give past the thematic holiday...so selfless!
