DIY Network: Free Preview Today on HGTV

In case you haven't heard, the DIY Network, an new specialty channel featuring home improvement programs, launched last month...but if you don't have the channel, there's two ways to sample it, free!

Today, from 4pm-6pm EST, get a sneak peek on HGTV of four programs you'll see on DIY: Desperate Landscapes, Yard Crashers, BATHtastic and Man Caves.

Or, if you're a Bell TV, Rogers or Shaw Direct cable subscriber, you can watch the DIY Network for free! Find out which channels are showing the preview.

I just watched DIY Network Desparate Landscapes and the thing that really turned me off was at the end of the landscape renovations was the installation of a US flag on the front of the house.  This is sooooo tacky!!  Why, oh why, is this done so much in the US?  (Yes we do have some Canadians who unfortunately do this too).  What every happened to good taste and the "not shoving it down your throat" arrogance of home owners and disregard for their neighbors.
