Live Blogging Holmes Inspection Episode 7: Join Us Tonight!

Live Blogging time! Join me and the other Holmes Inspection fans tonight at 8pm EST as I live blog for the first time...

Tonight, Mike, Damon and the crew meet Kim and Daniel who bought their house so that their two little girls could grow up in safety. They really tried to follow the advice of their home inspector, but problems were missed (aren't they always?) and things went from bad to worse. Uh-oh, when there's kids involved you know it's going to be slightly horrifying to watch.

Join me and the community in the chat tonight. Simply post your comments in the embedded window below by clicking on "Make a comment" at the top of the dialogue box as we watch. Or, you can log in to your Twitter account and send us a tweet (@hgtvcanada). Looking forward to seeing you all here!

See what we had to say last week!

Awesome show! We need more people like Mike and his crew. Where can you get information about becoming a home inspector? I tried to get information but there wasn't much to choose from and some sites were not even working. What school would you recommend?

Addicted to watching Home Inspector. As well, liked watching Holmes on Homes. Has taught me a thing or two as a recent new condo owner, such as the proper way to install a ceramic tile floor. Currently, having my 2nd floor ceramic tile floor being installed in less then a year. 1st time around, the contractor did a half fast job. He did not bother to take out the existing wood sub floor. Tiled right on top of it, which resulted in constant grout cracks.

Waiting for Mike to use the magic words, "Tear it all out!"

Yeah... Wish Mike was able to do a "condo inspection" show...

I believe that furnace vents need to be at least 3 feet from any opening by code...

So is Mike a licenced home inspector? I know he's not a licenced carpenter.

I would like to see someone go after the bad contractors and make them pay or at least have a site where the names of these contractors are posted
