Splurge vs. Steal: Designer Trays

Celebrity designers, Kateleen Kutsu for Marimekko (splurge, left) and Jonathan Adler (steal, right) used bold and funky patterns to jazz up serving trays. The bight blue graphics on white backgrounds are fresh and fun! Plus, they’re made from unbreakable materials such as plywood (splurge) or melamine (steal) making them ideal for the back-and-forth from kitchen to yard, not to mention family living.

Splurge (left): Kateleen Kutsu Tray, $48, Marimekko, order through marimekkovancouver.com

Save (right): Acapulco Tray, US $28, Jonathan Adler, order through jonathanadler.com

Comments:

Besides the price, I prefer look and the pattern on the J. Adler tray.

I too prefer the one by Johnathen Alder and its not necessarily because of the price.
