Let’s not beat around the bush on this one: oval mirrors are nothing new, but in a space that’s not hip to be square, they can bring a little circular motion into your decor commotion. Try one over your mantle in lieu of angular artwork, in the front entrance for last-minute once-overs or any dark corner that could use the illuminative powers of afternoon sunlight hitting off of a reflective surface. However, be careful how you use them in repetition--or risk turning your living space into a nautical retreat! I love the traditional wood and gold employed in the splurge and the steal, but couldn't resist throwing in the very modern brushed nickle one as an extra buget-friendly find.
