Michael Stratulak, the young owner of Beige, tries to source as much as possible locally and across Canada. He sells all Canadian-made upholstered sofas and headboards. Wooden furniture pieces are either reproductions or old refurnished furniture pieces that are sourced in Montreal and Ottawa. Montreal’s artisans are employed for all of the furniture paintings and custom re-upholstery jobs. For the home accessories, suppliers from Canada, the United States and Europe bring a special touch to Beige.

- The lamps are awesome and elegant French country tableware brings style to your table without breaking the bank.
- The collectible plaques by Vancouver artist Sid Dickens are $76 each. They are perfect for making a grouping in the bathroom. These hand-finished plastered Memory Block tiles are produced in limited edition with new tiles revealed each spring.
- The shop also offers interior design services that go from color consultation, space planning or furniture placement to designing custom upholstery pieces, drapery, shades and bed linens. Their interior design services cost $75 an hour.
