Comfortable Quilts: Send Us Your Photos

Last week some of us were sitting around chatting about things we'd love to showcase on Style Sheet. And we quickly discovered that we've all got quilts and we all love them!

Elana showed off the lovely quilt on her daughter's bed in her recent Shoestring Makeover post. And I snapped this pic of one my mom made me a few years ago; some of the fabrics are from my dad's old shirts. (I also posted a photo of a Snoopy quilt my mom made on our flickr pool. I loved Peanuts when I was a kid, so my mom thought this would be cute.)

I'm hopeful that April will be one of the last of the cool months and I won't need to take cover under my quilts anymore until winter. In the meantime, I'd love to see what sort of quilts you've got at home.

Email your photos to stylesheet(@)hgtv(.)ca or if you've got a flickr account, upload your photos to our Style Sheet photo group.

Hi - My mom made me a quilt when I was a child - it was beautiful - it was made with felt applique that was 3-d - trees, flowers, butterflies and hills. I loved it and so did my dog who tore it apart -  I cried for days. When I retire I plan on getting out my machine and sewing again and a big quilt is on my list.

I tried sending a email so that you can take a look at my quilts on my blog, but your email address is not correct that you have posted.

Please visit      appliqueandpatches.blogspot.com and scroll down to Labels and then Quilts to see all the quilts that I have made over the past 30 years.

There are thousands of quilting blogs on the web and there is always something new to see everyday.  It is like going to a quilt show all over the world from your home.
